My creativity

In the past few years my creativity has been for namely college, myself and or friends and more. These where the few noted.

For college it’s the projects I did for the course. For my final major project I did a 30 minute radio programme which I earned a Media Award for Best Radio Programme. I created a video clip mixed of two clips, the hippo and the crazy frog all in one video with backing music which i uploaded onto YouTube. Recently I shot a mini movie with my cousins and thereafter a music video for one of my friend’s song.

I did most of the past projects with little research or none at all. Mostly it was done with common knowledge that I already knew. Apart from the music video I did every project with me making all the decisions. For the music video i had to come to an agreement with the singer on what to put and what not to include in the video. The college projects I had to follow the guides provided and meet criteria, so I was narrowed to a way of doing them.

I think my life is interesting so I would like to share with the world some of the things I do through my creativity. My biography would sell millions. Creativity is in progress till the right time of release. In conclusion I would say for the future my creativity will have no limits and reach great heights.

Research will help me reach these places through giving me the relevant and modern styles on the market. Again the more ideas, the better production. Watching clips off youtube helps me get ideas that I develop or adapt to my own projects. Visiting websites to read about other practitioners and designers is another way that will guide me get to these places. Reading books and having conversations with people on related subjects of creativity helps me gain more knowledge on the subject.

I am drawn to what is happening in other related discipline as my research starting point. This is so that I stay relevant with the times. Knowing the writing process and how it actually came together is does not seem relevant to the research. The economic, political, social cultural context framing the text seems wary although your audience look at these things.

Reflection on Progress and development

From having conversations with other students about reflection on the progress and development on their projects I realised students a numerous things. Students tend to not look at other students’ work to judge theirs instead they look at related professionally made work. Also they have a mindset that their project is the best. A few students said well they get ideas from other students work but they do not compare their work with other students.

Most students have faced working as a group as the most outstanding issue because students have different energy to a given project. Then again more minds are better than one. Students need to always recap on work they have done before, as for me I had a little difficulty in working on the camera. Again as a group we found that from the last project, we were not taught the whole manual of the camera. This then tells me that as a student I need to have my own understanding of the mechanics and programs. Students need to put more on independent work.
