First the site was limited to only the University of Havard, later on to the Universities around Boston after to people over the age of 13. It has been banned in countries like China, Iran and more. The main reason being that it is a distruction at work. Compete.com has ranked facebook as the highest visited social network site followed by myspace.com. User range from adults mostly when they are at work in cases of boredome. Again adults use it to search for they old friends. It is a tool used to show off accomplishment through photos infront of possessions and status updates. Young adults use facebook to either make friends, upload pictures of their outings. it helps in events management, you can advertise your event there. There are application where you can play which are designed for teenagers and younger generation. You can access facebook through your mobile phone apart from the the computer or laptop. most service provide it as an application on the phone for free with some service providers.
