Over the Holiday

Over the Holiday
Over the Holiday i revisited Soul Plane Directed by Jessi Terrero. The narrative follows a man who supposedly called himself an Entrepunuer. On a flight from Los Angeles to Boston, he got caught in a toilet seat and got his dog released out the flight. He sued the Airline for hundred million and bought his on plane. The story begins when the plane had its first flight. The tagline of the plane was we fly we party we land. Basically the movie is based on black people stereotypes, the narrative lacks realism. The mainstream audience is black people because of the majority of the characters and the language used. It’s a fun movie not one you can take serious.

A friend of a friend of mine who is aspiring to be a musician asked me to shoot him a video of his RnB love song. We did it and turned out fantastic but our intention was not to air out, it was to have fun with it. Initially we did a drift in the snow and we thought lets record another one. We developed a short film which received positive remarks. One of the friends who saw it told his friend about us, which led to us shoot his video.

Everyone took photos at Christmas and in the snow days but I can say my picture taking has improved since the last three assignments. After the holidays I noticed I had only three pictures of myself, the reason being I was the man behind the camera. People loved the photos I was taking. Later I realised they did not want to be behind the camera and they said, ‘his a media student he can do better.’

These are the few things i noted from the holiday
