Research

"Since practically every measurement of a web site's success involves its audience- hits, sales, click throughs, customer comments, customer complaints, positive community, etc. Then it makes a great deal of sense to develop a deeper understanding of your audience and use this understanding to design a site that accommodates your audience." I agree with this to an extent and it applies to the rest of the pathways. You have to understand your audience because your goal is to meet the audience's needs. How ever there is this idea that I came up with, I tell people what I want to tell them not what they want to hear because I could be wrong about what they want to hear. It helps me explore avenues and not be confined by what is contemporary. At the same time I have to understand current affairs to stay relevant. It all comes down to the audience.
